What is the purpose of SEEL?

Social, Emotional, Ethical, and Logical Learning (SEEL) is a framework for fostering the holistic development of social, emotional, and logical skills in children, adolescents, and communities. Having SEEL skills makes a person empathetic, resilient, socially astute, emotionally intelligent, and an ethical and logical thinker.

Social skills allow people to understand their various bonds and boundaries with others, such as family, friends, and society.
Emotional skills development allows a person to understand the feelings of others and themselves.
Ethical decision-making allows a person to gain a greater understanding of their values and morals during the decision-making process.
Logical thinking is the process of analyzing a situation to come up with solutions that are rational and sensible.

How can I use the NGN SEEL in my organizations/practices/therapy?

NGN SEEL is designed with children ages 5 to 15 in mind. Our age-appropriate curriculum can be blended easily into pediatric behavioral therapies. Using NGNSEEL, children's behavioral specialists can supplement therapy sessions with 21st-century skills or implement a multidisciplinary and holistic curriculum.

As a pediatric behavioral specialist, do I need any experience or training in social and emotional learning?

Yes. To use our license curriculum, you must complete a mandatory 40-hour training course. Then, NGNSoft, USA, will certify you/your organization.

Do my patients/clients need prior experience?

No. Your patients/clients learn social and emotional skills through NGN SEEL in a fun and accessible way. We offer worksheets, stories, and project-based learning activities. By engaging in these activities, students can learn more about our curriculum.

What Is NGN 360 SEEL Assessment

NGN 360 SEEL Assessment is a screening process for a child that evaluates an individual's ability and skills in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and ethical decision-making. The purpose of NGN SEEL descriptive screening is to gain a deeper understanding of an individual's strengths and areas for growth in the social and emotional domain, which can inform interventions, support, and programming to help them develop these skills.
