Two-Day Training Workshop: September 12,and 13 from 5:00 PM -6:30 PM.
Equip high school teachers with tools to teach media literacy and ethical information consumption. The workshop covers critical thinking skills, fact-checking methods, and discussions on the ethical implications of media influence on society.

Day 1 Learning Outcomes:
1.Participants will understand the importance of teaching media literacy and ethical information consumption in high schools.
2.Teachers will explore the principles of NGN SEEL and its role in providing tools for navigating and critically evaluating media content.
3.Participants will discuss the ethical implications of media influence on society and the role of educators in promoting responsible media consumption.
Day 2 Learning Outcomes:
1.Participants will acquire practical strategies aligned with NGN SEEL for teaching high school students media literacy and critical thinking skills.
2.Teachers will learn how to integrate NGN SEEL principles into fact-checking methods and discussions that address the ethical considerations of media influence.
3.Participants will collaboratively design and share lesson plans incorporating NGN SEEL principles for teaching students how to navigate media responsibly and make ethical choices in information consumption.
