Day 1 Learning Outcome:

  • Learn about social and emotional milestones in student’s growth and challenges they face in managing emotions.
  • Recognize the influential role of teachers in nurturing students’ social and emotional well-being and learn strategies for creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Reflect on their own emotions and behaviors, gaining self-awareness of their impact on students.
  • Understand the impact of thoughts and emotions on student’s behavior and learn techniques to address emotions effectively.
  • Acquire methods for expanding student’s emotional vocabulary and promoting empathy in the classroom.

 

Day 2 Learning Outcome:

  • Introduction to cognitive-behavioral strategies for student’s social and emotional development.
  • Learn strategies to assist student in regulating emotions, including mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
  • Recognize the importance of empathy and engage in activities that foster empathy among students.
  • Acquire positive discipline strategies that focus on social and emotional growth and support students’ emotional well-being.
  • Understand the significance of collaborating with parents and learn effective communication strategies.
  • Reflect on workshop concepts, develop personalized action plans, and implement new knowledge in the classroom.
